Anna and Nick are good friends of mine and my husbands, my husband was actually their best man. So it was a privilege to be a part of their big day. There were so many personal details in this wedding that made it distinctly theirs. One of those details, if not the most important it was definitely the most unique and surprising, was the Elvis impersonator who officiated! The second was when Nick and two of his groomsmen had their band equipment set up and performed "All the small things" by Blink 182 for Anna during the reception. Those and so many others, including the fact that when Nick showed up to see Anna for their first look he had the biggest smile and looked happier (and more nervous) then I had ever seen him, made this an unforgettable day.

I had the most fun doing this wedding. Rachele had such a clear vision of what she wanted from her braided mohawk to her pale pink wedding dress. One of the fun parts for me was the braids. She let all of her bridesmaids chose any hairstyle they wanted as long as it included a braid of some sort, even her mother included a braid. I love all the different ideas we came up with.
